Dr. Edward Alvarez is a multifaceted leader in aesthetic medicine, restorative dentistry, and community service, with practices in New York City and Miami. He is a member of MENSA. A graduate of NYU Dental at just 24, he later attended Harvard Medical School, is board-certified in Aesthetic Medicine, and is a certified acupunturist. Dr. Alvarez serves as a faculty member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and is a physician member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. In the field of cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry, he was named the Top Cosmetic Dentist in New York City in 2018. Renowned for his expertise in the world of aesthetic medicine, he is a national speaker and Key Opinion Leader for Cutera, focusing on groundbreaking treatments like truFlex, personally developing a protocol that aids patients with cerebral palsy, amputations, and spinal cord injuries.

 A graduate of the NYPD’s Citizens Police Academy, Dr. Alvarez also serves as a Police Surgeon for the New York State Troopers PBA. His earlier career highlights include serving as a Cadet Master Sergeant and as his squadron’s First Sergeant in the United States Air Force Auxiliary. He is an avid shooter and deeply passionate about supporting law enforcement and veteran communities. Together with his wife, he has been a long-time advocate for dog rescue foundations and other charitable organizations.

Outside of medicine and service, Dr. Alvarez had an illustrious career as a DJ, with residencies in New York City and Los Angeles, and performances on the main stage at major festivals such as the Electric Daisy Carnival.
